Director, Environmental Services

Directs overall operations of the Housekeeping and Transportation departments.  Plans, administers and evaluates twenty-four hour operation of Housekeeping and Transportation.  Oversees assignments of duties to unit personnel based on patients' needs, staffing availability, occupancy trends and competency.  Provides leadership and role modeling for delivery of safe, effective and efficient patient care.  Regularly reviews and revises as necessary departmental standards and ensures procedures performed comply with all Provena Covenant and regulatory agency standards.  Works with Medical Center administration and other departments to achieve the hospital goals and objectives.

Education and Experience:  HS Diploma or GED required.  Minumum 7 years experience managing a hospital environmental services department required.  Bachelor degree preferred.
