The PAS Rep I performs outpatient and inpatient registration functions. Provides general information to hospital users, patients and families. Ensures that patients meet financial requirements. Provides excellent patient focused customer service. Communicates effectively to service delivery areas to maximize patient flow and customer service. Education and Experience: High school graduate or equivalent. Must be able to accurately type 25-30 words per minute and pass a clerical examination. Medical terminology preferred. Previous experience in hospital admissions, business office and/or physician's office preferred. |
