Orients, trains and assists in coordinating the workflow of the medical transcriptionist staff in the successful and timely completion of assigned transcription tasks. Education and Experience: High School graduation or equivalent. Minimum one year experience as a transcriptionist in a direct patient care environment is required. Medical terminology knowledge and previous medical terminology training is required. Certified medical transcriptionist (CMT) designation is preferred. (~) |
